2018 Facilities and Grounds Annual Conference

After a great 2017 conference, we are headed back to the Outer Banks! Our board has once again identified key speakers for critical topics the cover the entire spectrum of facilities and grounds maintenance. CEU credits will be available for attendees.

Following tradition, we will kick our conference off with a golf tournament on Wednesday afternoon at Kilmarlic Golf Club which is being sponsored again this year by Dude Solutions. We would like to thank all of our conference partners since, without them, our Board would be unable to host such an event. During lunch on Thursday, we will hear from Daniel McMains from J&D Tree Pros. He will present on chainsaw and worksite safety. He is an engaging speaker that you won’t want to miss. Dinner Thursday night will be in the hotel’s incredible Pier House Ballroom over the waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

If you are in a facilities or grounds position within your organization, I would encourage you to consider participating in this year’s conference. I’m confident that if you attend, you will leave more informed and refreshed than you were upon arrival. As an added bonus for those who wish to extend their stay for an extra night or two, the hotel has graciously agreed to honor the conference hotel rates through the weekend. The Booth Fee for Partners is $375 which includes registration for one. Each additional person is $100. This year, we are adding the opportunity for Partners to sponsor our lunch and dinner gatherings on Thursday, May 3rd.

Partners are encouraged to provide door prize(s). Benefits of the 2018 Facilities & Grounds Conference participation include:

  • Exhibitor Space - Each indoor booth space will be approximately 8’ x 10’. Tables and chairs will be provided. Outdoor Booth space will be available at the Conference Center. Booth spaces are available on a “first come, first served” basis. To increase exposure for your company, there will be a formal introduction of Exhibitors and Supporters following breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 3rd. During this time, we will recognize your company’s representative(s) and make a brief statement about your products and/or services. Conference participants are encouraged to explore each Exhibitor and Supporter booth. Door prizes donated by Exhibitors and Supporters will be awarded during breaks between technical sessions.
  • Workshop Registration - Representative(s) from your company will be permitted to attend all technical sessions at the Conference.
  • Recognition of Supporter - As a Supporter, your company will be included on promotional material including advertising material, registration packets, and information postings at the conference.
