Please join the NC-APWA Stormwater Division for another informative educational session that will be held on Wednesday June 6, 2018, at the Greensboro Coliseum from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Do you have questions on how to better facilitate your Post-Construction Stormwater Site Runoff Controls program? Do you want to know what other municipalities around North Carolina are doing to comply with their stormwater permit requirements? This workshop is for you! 

The focus of this session will be all about different approaches to meeting the Post Construction Stormwater Controls minimum measure on stormwater permits throughout the state. Whether you are a large municipality with a lot of resources or a small municipality looking for creative ideas of how to meet your requirements, you will learn about the successes and challenges that different sized municipalities face while administering this minimum measure. Speakers include Kelsie Burgess and Robbie Baker from the City of High Point, Mike Horan from the City of Wilson, Jordan Miller from the City of Charlotte and Thomas Moore representing Dragonfly Pond Works. Robert Patterson from NCDEQ, who has taken over for the retired Mike Randall, will also provide the State perspective on this minimum measure.

The NC-APWA stormwater division has held these informative educational sessions for five years now with great success. This is anticipated to be a well-attended workshop, so please secure your seat early! A hot lunch will provided for all registrants along with 0.3 CEUs for this workshop and plenty of time to network. We hope to see you there!

Cancellation Policy

If your plans change and you cannot attend an event, a colleague can attend in your place as these registrations are transferrable – please contact the event coordinator for details. Cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted seven (7) days prior to the event start date. An APWA Member/Attendee will receive a full refund, less a $20 administrative fee. Conference Partners who cannot attend an event will receive a full refund, less a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be granted for “no-shows”. Non-attendance does not excuse the participant’s financial obligation to pay the registration fees due to APWA- NC. Approved refunds will be processed as soon as possible. Please send your cancellation and/or refund request to the event coordinator. All Cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee as outlined above. Any refund request submitted after the seven (7) day window may be brought to the Executive Board at the next regularly scheduled meeting for consideration.
