Property Flooding - Don't Let it Drain You!
The APWA NC Stormwater Management Division is pleased to present the second of three virtual workshops this spring/summer to continue on the success of last year’s Stormwater in the Cloud virtual sessions. Please join us for the second workshop that will be held on May 19th virtually through Zoom on the hot topic of drainage issues. North Carolina has seen an increase in rainfall events over the past few years, especially within the past several months and this workshop will focus on the what municipalities around the state are doing to mitigate these issues. This will include private property drainage issues, public infrastructure, stream and SCM issues and maintenance due to increased rainfall. Presenters will include Durham Soil and Water Conservation District, City of Rocky Mount and the City of Charlotte. This workshop will run from 2:00pm – 5:00pm and should provide 0.3 CEU credits. This is a workshop you will not want to miss! Agenda will be forthcoming in the next several days on the registration site.
Registration will close on May 17th, 2021 at 5 pm.
A zoom link to join the event will be sent on March 18th, 2021 by 5 pm.
