The Equipment Services and Streets Divisions of APWA-NC invite you to attend our 2018 conference, September 26th through 28th, at the Greenville Convention Center. Greenville is home to East Carolina University and features a vibrant art, live music, and culinary scene in the Uptown and Dickinson Avenue Arts districts. You’ll also find legendary BBQ joints and craft breweries on the Pitt County Brew & ‘Cue Trail
Our conference provides a great learning experience for public works staff at all levels through a variety of traditional and interactive sessions ranging from street preservation to underground storage tanks. In addition, this year’s event features Bob McCall and Steve Gilliland, two highly respected and entertaining keynote speakers, who will you leave you thinking and laughing. Attendees can also spend time in the exhibit area kicking tires, talking technology, or getting the scoop on new products with over 70+ vendors.
Our conference also provides great social and networking opportunity including a golf tournament on Tuesday afternoon, a corn-hole tournament on Wednesday evening and a Thursday evening social at the Pitt Street Brewing Company. A complimentary shuttle will be provided to/from the convention center. We hope to see you in Greenville!

The Equipment Services and Streets board members have been listening to your feedback and have been working diligently this year to increase the number of attendees on the exhibit floor. We have scheduled two high caliber keynote speakers in Steve Gilliland, and Bob McCall, which we feel will boost conference attendance numbers.
This conference attracts public works officials from all across North Carolina. We anticipate more than 100 attendees from large and small municipalities across the state. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to showcase your company, products, and services. We have developed an exciting program loaded with professional development hours and fun activities to include a golf tournament on Tuesday afternoon, a corn-hole tournament on Wednesday evening, and a Thursday evening attitude adjustment at a local microbrewery.
We have enclosed the Exhibitor Registration form along with details regarding the event and partnership opportunities. Please consider partnering or co-partnering one of our functions. All Partners will receive special recognition and thanks at the conference, so it is important to get us the appropriate information during your registration.
Exhibitor registration fee for one booth is $650.00 (deadline September 1, 2018). Registration after September 1, 2018 will be $750.00. Exhibit spaces are available on a ‘first-come first-served’ basis and additional registrations cannot be accepted once all spaces are filled. Please register early. This fee includes ONE full conference registration and ONE meal package. Additional attendees can be purchased for $150/person. Information for Partners, Event Co-Partners, and Event Partners is included.
All booth spaces and equipment will be INDOORS and our booths will be 10’ x 10’, with a 6’ table and chair for $650. Additional 10’x10’ booths are available for an additional $350. Exhibitors MUST ensure they purchase the appropriate booth size to accommodate the size equipment they are bringing. Set up for exhibitors with equipment will be on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Set up for ALL other exhibitors (not bringing equipment) will be Tuesday, September 25, 2018, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. All exhibits will need to be removed by Thursday, September 27, 2018 between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
With each booth or exhibit space registration, you will receive ONE full conference registration for ONE person that includes all meals and events on the program. Each additional attendee will be charged $150.00 per person for registration and meals.
If you desire electrical service for your booth, you MUST check the box on the registration form in order to receive it at no additional charge. Exhibitors requesting electrical service the day of the conference will be required to purchase it through the convention center.
****IMPORTANT**** Equipment or vehicles entering the Greenville Convention Center must have 1⁄4 tank of fuel or less. Please DO NOT fill up your equipment prior to entering.
The APWA-NC solicits Partners for activities (such as breaks, meals, receptions, etc.) associated with the conference allowable under North Carolina Statutes. If you would like to be a Partner and support the conference by way of a monetary donation, your company will receive special recognition and thanks during the conference.
Conference Partnership opportunities are open and available for registration at this time. We are offering an exciting range of partnership levels to recognize and promote your company’s support of this important and well-attended annual event. Any amount is welcome and greatly appreciated. This conference would not be possible without our Exhibitors and Partners.
All Partners will be shown within the conference program with special emphasis and recognition for platinum and gold level Partners. A Partner summary listing with corporate logos and firm contact information will also be provided for conference participants. All partnership levels represent a tremendous value and opportunity to get your company’s name in front of existing and potential clients within North Carolina and the southeast region.
We can apply your partnership amount to the event of your choice, as designated by you the Partner, or to be used as needed. Any partnership amount is welcome and greatly appreciated. Opportunities are as follows:

Exhibitors are welcome and encouraged to donate additional door prizes to incorporate into random drawings throughout the conference. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations and refund requests must be submitted to the Event Coordinator seven (7) days prior to the event start date. Registrations are transferrable—if you cannot attend this event, a colleague can attend in your place. Contact the Event Coordinator for details.
An APWA Member / Attendee will receive a full refund, less a $20 administrative fee. Conference Partners who cannot attend will receive a full refund, less a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be granted for “no-shows.” Non- attendance does not excuse the participant’s financial obligation to pay the registration fees due to APWA-NC.
All cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee as outlined above. Any refund request submitted after the seven (7) day window may be brought to the Executive Board at the next regularly scheduled meeting for consideration.
