The Small Cities/Rural Communities Committee (formerly the SC/RC Forum) is composed of six members from agencies with smaller populations that often need to address public works issues from a different position than those in larger areas. The Committee meets by conference call each month. For current activities, visit the SCRC page at www.apwa.net/ About/SIG/SCRC/.Members of the new committee are increasing the visibility of these issues by inviting members from agencies to write articles for the APWA Reporter, providing education sessions for APWA's Congress, and posting messages on the newly expanded Rural infoNOW community at rural@infonow.apwa.net.There is no "formal" membership and no cost to be included as part of this group.
